Ways to Help
Ways to Donate
When you make a volunteer at Replays, you are supporting our mission to help more kids access the physical and mental benefits of sports and recreation. Your time and dedication sustains our work, allowing us to continue providing free sports equipment to kids in need.
The many ways you can volunteer at Replays which are outlined below. If you have any questions about volunteer opportunities please contact us.
Volunteer at our warehouse
Corporate Volunteer Group? Greek Life Volunteering? Student Groups?
Leveling the Playing Field can host groups up to 25 people at our warehouse. To schedule a custom volunteer opportunity, please contact us.
Keep in mind you can help us out no matter where you live! We rely on donations as well as our volunteers.
Every day, donations of sporting equipment are dropped off at our warehouse and sent out into the community. In order to sort and organize all of these donations, we rely heavily on volunteers.
Volunteers will inventory and sort sports equipment donations from our intake bins. Volunteers will also help staff maintain the organization of the warehouse space by sorting through current inventory and making sure all equipment is in good condition.
A basic understanding of sports equipment is preferred but not required. Typical volunteer shifts last two hours. This opportunity is open to individuals and groups. The age minimum to volunteer is 10 years old. All volunteers under the age of 15 must be accompanied by an adult.
Run Your Own COllection Drive
Mitzvah Project? Eagle Scout Project? Girl Scout Troop? Or just need volunteer hours?
Replays relies heavily on community members to help us collect sporting equipment throughout their communities.
Volunteers can organize their own collection drives at their schools, sports leagues, churches, synagogues, neighborhoods etc.
Collectors will place donation bins, inventory equipment and hand out tax receipts to donors when requested. If able, volunteers will transport donated equipment from their drive to the Replays warehouse.
Replays staff is available to discuss potential collection drives over the phone.
Help at one of our Collection Drives:
Almost every weekend Replays is out in the community collecting gear at sporting events, tournaments, school fairs and more!
With limited staff, we rely on volunteers to assist us at each collection drive. Volunteers will help us empty cars, hand out tax receipts and inventory donations before placing donations into the Replays truck.
90% of the equipment Replays donates comes from individual families. As a result, it is very important that we have help so that we can run as many of these collection drives as possible.
Typical volunteers shifts last two hours but longer shifts are available.
If you are interested in having Replays run a collection drive at your event, please contact us.
